A New Chapter in the Doncasters Story

After a year of change and consolidation at the highest level in the Doncasters business, we are excited to announce the next chapter in our 240-year story.

Since March 2020 we have been under a new ownership, with a new Board in place, a renewed ambition for the future and with the vision to be a global leader of turning metals into motion.

Our mission is a ‘customer first’ focus, we will strive for excellence in all areas of our customer interaction and service, delivering high quality, competitive products on time every time.

Our strategy will play a fundamental part in realising this goal, and as we set about the future planning of the organisation just over a year ago, it was important for us to take time to develop the right strategy for our business.

We will have strategic priorities focusing on our people, our customers, culture and communication, Continuous Improvement and technology as well as financial performance.

The foundation to every strategy is to have a winning culture where safety and quality is paramount in everything we do, where we put the customer first and where our people feel empowered, encouraged and valued. Our core values of excellence, commitment, integrity and teamwork will continue to be the focus of the Doncasters way and the essence of who we are.

To complete our new vision, we thought it was important that our outward appearance reflect our new ambition, so today we also launch our bright new look; a dynamic and modern identity representative of our aspirations, company vision, goals and values, while preserving the important heritage of the Doncasters name.

It is a bold statement about us, what we do and what makes us unique, and reflective of our drive to be the best in the marketplace.

It’s an exciting future ahead for the Doncasters Group, with a new strategy, a clear direction and a mandate from the highest level to excel at what we do: Turn metals into motion.
