
February 2024 – We are proud to announce that in 2023 Doncasters achieved an overall 8.34% reduction in energy use per kilogram processed, and a 4% reduction in tonnes (t) of carbon dioxide (CO2) in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions relative to output.
Our ESG report, released today, shows that we are continuing to demonstrate the effectiveness of our health and safety programmes, with a 20% reduction in global Total Incidents, and a 52% reduction in Lost Time Injuries (LTI) compared to 2022.
Mike Quinn, Chief Executive Officer, said: “At Doncasters we are working towards a more climate -positive and socially equitable world. Today we have published our 2023 ESG report which shows continued improvement across our ESG activities. However, we recognise there is so much more to do and in 2024 we will continue to build on these improvements.”
