January 2026 – Uni-Pol India (UPI) has achieved a significant safety milestone by reporting zero Lost Time Accidents (LTAs) in 2025.
This is a major accomplishment for one of Doncasters’ largest sites and reflects years of focused effort, cultural change, and continuous improvement in health and safety.

Reaching zero LTAs is not the result of a single initiative or short-term campaign. It represents a long-term journey, built on consistent leadership commitment, employee engagement, and a shared belief that everyone has a role to play in keeping the workplace safe.Over several years, UPI has strengthened its safety culture by embedding safety into daily operations rather than treating it as a separate activity. This has included a clear focus on hazard identification, proactive risk management, strong reporting practices, and regular safety conversations at all levels of the organisation. Employees have been encouraged to speak up, challenge unsafe conditions, and take ownership not only of their own safety, but of their colleagues’ wellbeing as well.
Leadership visibility and accountability have also been central to this progress. By reinforcing expectations, supporting safe behaviours, and ensuring lessons are learned from near misses and observations, the site has continued to raise standards year after year.
