7 October – Bochum, Germany Doncasters Group has today announced the appointment of Robert Frank as General Manager for it’s precision casting operation in Bochum, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, effective 1 November.

Robert commented: “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to lead one of Doncasters Group’s largest facilities. Having already met a number of the management team I’m excited to help them build upon the excellent work they have done so far in developing valued partnerships with our customers in order to promote future growth.”

With significant experience in senior roles at Elster / Honeywell and most recently Siemens AG, Robert brings significant experience in leading complex manufacturing sites. Importantly, his background gives him an in-depth knowledge of the industries served by DPC Bochum, which specialises in the production of vacuum cast blades and vanes, as well as the superalloys used in their manufacture, for the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets.
