April 2025 – This Earth Day, teams across our North American sites have proved that even small actions can lead to a meaningful impact.

Employees across the sites took time out of their busy day to step outside and give back to the environment in a tangible way.

At both Oxford and Groton, employees went armed with gloves, determination, and plenty of rubbish bags, to embark on a facility-wide clean-up.

In Springfield there was a one-man mission to clean up the site and repaint the bollards and yellow safety paint.

The team at Long Beach gathered to clean out an area in front of one building and plant some flowers, and at Mexicali, the site celebrated and raised awareness about the environment and all took a plant home.

Trucast US planted trees for A Shift and B Shift, and celebrated with cupcakes, ice cream and awareness bracelets. Killdeers have been nesting in this area since 2022, so the site made a Killdeer nest site.

EHS Manager, Tyler Beegle, said: “The participation of the Doncasters North America sites on Earth Day shows our ongoing commitment to the environment and sustainability. Everyone wants to make a difference in the world and our teams did that on April 22, 2025. We look forward to participating again in 2026.”

Earth Day served as more than just a clean-up – it was a reminder that sustainability starts with us.

Thank you and well done to everyone who took part – take a look at the video below to see images from across the sites.
