Promotion is Part of Company-Wide Initiative To Prepare For Strategic Growth
8 October 2012, Jumet, Belgium — Karim El Housni has been elevated to the position of Managing Director of Doncasters Settas, a leading manufacturer of precision investment and sand castings for a range of demanding applications in the aerospace, industrial, offshore and high performance automotive industries.
In his new position, Mr. El Housni reports directly to the head of Doncasters Group’s Centrifugal Products Division, Ian Dunkinson, and assumes the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of Doncasters Settas’s global operations including manufacturing, design, sales and marketing, finance and health & safety. Mr. El Housni replaces Axel Luckow as Managing Director, who is retiring after an illustrious 39-year career with Doncasters.
Mr. El Housni initially joined Doncasters Settas’s management team as the company’s Finance and Administration Director in August 2009. Prior to joining Doncasters Settas, Mr. El Housni was the Group Financial & Administrative Manager at Common Market Fertilizers S.A. and more recently served as the director of several small medium enterprises (SMEs).
According to Mr. Dunkinson, this promotion is in recognition of the key role Mr. El Housni has played in the continuous improvement of Doncasters Settas as a leading international supplier to a diverse set of industries. “The drive, leadership and dedication that Karim has given to Doncasters Settas over the years have proven to be invaluable assets to our organisation, and we are confident that his ‘goal-oriented’ leadership will play an integral part in the growth of Settas.”
