12 September 2013, Burton-upon-Trent, UK — James R Gaines Jr. has been appointed Vice President of Finance for the Fastener Systems Division according to an announcement from Ken Caratelli, President of the Fastener Systems Division.
As Divisional Vice President of Finance, Mr. Gaines will report directly to Mr. Caratelli and will work closely with Michael Schurch, Chief Financial Officer. His focus will be on driving business performance through an emphasis on daily and weekly KPIs as well as monthly and quarterly routines.
Most recently, he was Division Controller for the SPS Technologies division of PCC where he also previously served as Director of Finance in the PCC Airfoils Division. Other previous employers include Veyance Technologies where he held the position of North American Regional Controller and LaFarge North America where he was Area Financial Controller for the Great Lakes Division.

Mr. Gaines holds a Masters of Business Administration from Lake Erie College, Painsville, Ohio and a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and has more than ten years’ experience in senior financial management roles.
