26 March 2014, Burton-Upon-Trent, UK — Doncasters Group today announced the appointment of Chris Edwards as Reward and Benefits manager. Mr Edwards will be taking over from the current Reward and Benefits Manager, Charles Lubek, who retires at the end of this month.
As part of the new European HR Management structure, Mr Edwards will report to Emma Pugh, Director of HR – UK and Europe. Janet Grimes, Pensions and Payroll Manager, will report to Mr Edwards for all pensions related work.
Mr Edwards has extensive experience in all aspects of Reward and Benefit management including bonus scheme implementation, reward strategy, pensions, pay review management and job evaluation and benchmarking.
Prior to joining Doncasters, Mr Edwards was Reward Specialist for NFU Mutual and Insurance where he supported the HR Director and Head of HR. As Reward Specialist his responsibilities included reward strategy review, benchmarking, annual pay review and negotiating with benefit suppliers to deliver cost savings to the business. Previous to this, Mr Edwards was a senior Reward Advisor for Severn Trent Water where he worked in partnership with the business and HR team to deliver the reward strategy.
