Brent Daldo Named General Manager of Fabricated Products in Doncasters’ IGT Turbine Components & Forgings Division

April 7, 2015 — Brent Daldo has been named General Manager of Fabricated Products in Doncasters’ IGT Turbine Components & Forgings Division, according to an announcement made by Craig Gooding, Divisional President. Mr. Daldo reports directly to Mr. Gooding, assuming responsibility for the oversight of all fabrication businesses within the Division. He will be located in Chula Vista, CA and have responsibility for the Division’s GCE, MECO and IET operations.

Prior to joining Doncasters, Mr. Daldo was most recently Vice President and General Manager of ASC Industries, a subsidiary of the UCI-FRAM Group. During his tenure at ASC Industries, Mr. Daldo had Full P&L responsibility of business representing over $350M (US) from multiple sites in the US, China, Mexico, and Spain. While there, he was integral to a successful turnaround of their Chinese casting facility utilising both gravity fed semi-permanent mold and die casting processes. In addition, he successfully executed an expansion programme including $30m of investment over 6 month period while maintaining 100% quality and delivery to GM’s Gen V program.

Mr. Daldo’s distinguished career also includes 10 years with Alcoa in a number of key roles including General Manager of Alcoa Howmet’s Tempcraft wax pattern and tooling facility in Cleveland, OH, as well as Director of Operations for Alcoa Howmet’s Dover, NJ Casting Facility producing investment cast blades and vanes. In addition, Mr. Daldo served as a Plant Manager for large press forging in Alcoa’s Cleveland, OH facility where he oversaw the making of closed and open-die forgings for structural aircraft components.
